A 10.5 inch RIS III rail—modeled after the revolutionary RIS II two-piece handguard developed for SOCOM—features M-LOK attachment for lighter weight and surrounds a free-floating, Cold Hammer Forged 11.5 inch Government Profile barrel. Along with the increased control provided by the ambidextrous lower, this short-barreled rifle delivers optimal maneuverability, reliability, accuracy, and terminal ballistics using a wide variety of ammunition, while its carbine length gas system provides smooth, reliable cycling under harsh conditions and reduces perceived recoil.
