PURCHASING FIREARMS ONLINE

Selling firearms online is a highly regulated process and at City Arsenal, we adhere strictly to all applicable laws. All firearms purchased online must be shipped to a person/business holding an active Federal Firearms License (FFL). Before completing your purchase make sure you either have an FFL license or know a business near you that has their federal license. We have the right to verify the FFL license being used before shipping any purchase.

How to Purchase A Firearm Online

1) Select Your Gun
Be sure the firearm you select for purchase has all the features and you want (e.g. caliber, finish, barrel length, etc.). You also need to ensure the firearm is legal in your state or locality. For example, some states place restrictions on magazine capacity or have weapon laws that may require certain modifications to a firearm. We may be able to provide these compliance modifications so please call if you have any questions regarding local restrictions that apply to you.

 2) Select Your Receiving Dealer
Firearms CAN NOT be shipped to your home. They can only be shipped to another dealer with a Federal Firearms License (FFL). You then must fill out the appropriate paperwork at the receiving dealer before the firearm can be transferred to you. This receiving dealer will most likely charge you a fee for this service. We recommend you contact your receiving dealer prior to purchase to discuss any details and fees that may apply.

If you are local to us you may come to our Greenville, S.C. location to fill out your paperwork and receive your order. Select “In-Store Pickup” as your shipping method and once your firearm is available we will notify you to come in and fill out the appropriate paperwork to finalize your order.

3) Place Your Order Online
During check-out the name and address of your receiving dealer is entered in the shipping fields (enter your name and address in the billing fields). If you have not yet selected a receiving dealer at the time you place your order contact us as soon as possible with your dealer’s shipping information. If you select a dealer that is not already in our dealer network, you must contact them to fax or email a copy of their FFL license to us. Any delay in your selecting and contacting your receiving dealer may result in delays in processing and shipping your order.

Note: All returns are subject to a restocking fee. Be sure to inspect the firearm at your dealer before it is transferred to you. Any damage caused by shipping needs to be reported to us as soon as possible. Click here to view additional details of our Return Policy.

REFUNDS

Customer service is a priority at City Arsenal.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will do our best to correct the situation to your satisfaction. Please contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) request within 10 business days of the receipt of the product.

Please note that we DO NOT permit the return of the following products:

Special orders and products that are custom configured to your specifications.
Products sold “as is” or “used” or that have been installed or used after receipt.
Firearms once transferred to the buyer.
Illumination devices, electronic sights, optics, and night vision equipment.

No returns will be accepted without prior approval from CityArsenal.com. Please contact us via email or phone in order to receive an RMA number (return merchandise authorization). No returns will be accepted without an RMA number. We will send you an RMA form that will have detailed information on how and where to ship your item(s).

All returns must be made within 30 days of product delivery.
All returns must be new and in the original packaging.
All accessories, documentation, and registration cards must be included with the return.
Shipping charges for product returns are non-refundable.

When your firearm arrives, please take the time to fully inspect each component for defects or flaws, and that it is indeed the firearm you ordered. Also, ensure there is no damage to your order from shipping. If you find any defects or if you receive the incorrect weapon, DO NOT ACCEPT THE TRANSFER. Once the firearm transfer is accepted, the gun is considered used and can only be returned to the manufacturer. No gun can be returned to City Arsenal after the transfer is complete.

If the item is returned unopened in the original box, we will exchange it, offer you store credit, or offer you a refund, less 20% restocking fee, based on your original method of payment. The product must be returned within 10 business days of the issuance of the RMA. All products must be packed in the original packaging, including any accessories, manuals, documentation, and registration that shipped with the product. A 15% open box fee in addition to the 20% restocking fee (totaling 40%) will be assessed on any sealed product that is opened or removed from its original packaging.

NOTE: We recommend that you use a carrier that offers shipment tracking for all returns, and either insure your package for safe return or declare the full value of the shipment so that you are protected if the shipment is lost or damaged in transit. If you chose not to use a carrier that offers package tracking and insure or declare the full value of the product, you will be responsible for any loss or damage to the product during shipping.

The customer is responsible for shipping charges both ways on returns, as well as for shipping charges on shipments that are refused.

SECURE TRANSMISSION

Privacy and security are of the utmost importance to every member of the City Arsenal family. All of the information you provide during the purchase process is transmitted via industry-standard Transport Layer Security (TLS). A Transport Layer Security (TLS) Certificate (or SSL Certificate) creates an encrypted connection between a Web site and your Web browser. This ensures that your data remains private and secure.

ORDER FULFILLMENT

All orders are shipped promptly from our warehouse or in-store inventory within 1-3 business days using UPS or FedEx. Tracking numbers are available for items shipped via UPS and FedEx.

Flat-rate shipping costs are based on the order total. Refer to the chart above for the current rates. Additional shipping charges may apply to any shipments outside the contiguous 48 states, please call for a detailed shipping quote. City Arsenal only ships orders Monday-Friday.

City Arsenal usually ships orders for in-stock items within 1-3 business days. A shipping provider will be selected based upon the size, contents, and value of the product being shipped at the discretion of City Arsenal. All shipments to Alaska and Hawaii will be shipped via US Postal Priority Mail unless they include firearms.

While we try our best to get out every order as quickly as possible, City Arsenal cannot guarantee same-day shipping. We ship orders Monday through Friday and do not offer UPS Saturday delivery. Any order placed on a Friday may not ship until the following Monday. UPS 2nd Day Air shipments are delivered the 2nd business day after being picked up by UPS – this means an order picked up by UPS on a Friday will not be delivered until the following Tuesday. Please keep this in mind when placing your order.

All shipments include a tracking number – a tracking number will be emailed to you when the order is shipped. Depending on the value of the product being shipped, a signature may be required to receive the product.

When purchasing online, our fulfillment team is allowed to reach out for additional verification of identity for items purchased. This is our attempt to prevent or catch any fraudulent transactions. When picking up online order “in-store” City Arsenal, INC will ask to see a form of identification and card used for purchase.

Note: Not all methods are available to all addresses within the specified areas. We will contact you before shipment if the shipment method you have chosen is not available to your address.

ONLINE PRICE & DESCRIPTION ERRORS

While we work hard to accurately represent our available products, occasionally errors occur when updating our online firearm store. We cannot guarantee that titles, descriptions, pictures or prices on our site are error-free. We reserve the right to refuse any order including but not limited to orders for items with errors in the description or price. In the event that we cancel your order, we will not charge your credit card or we will refund your money.

AMMUNITION PURCHASES

By law, you must be 18 or older to purchase rifle or shotgun ammunition and 21 or older to purchase handgun ammunition. All ammunition purchased from City Arsenal online will be shipped via ground transport with an adult signature required. Please check your local laws for any other regulations.

EXPORT POLICY AND EXPORT RESTRICTIONS

The U.S. Department of State’s Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Industry and Security, and the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control administer export control regulations that affect some aspects of our business. We request that you (the “Customer”) read and familiarize yourself with the following regarding certain applicable export regulations.

The sale, transfer, transportation, or shipment outside of the U.S. of any product prohibited or restricted for export without complying with U.S. export control laws and regulations, including proper export licensing, documentation or authorization, is strictly prohibited and may result in civil penalties and/or constitute a federal crime. City Arsenal, Inc. will not engage in any transaction that requires the illegal export of any products and will not assist directly or indirectly with the illegal export or re-export of any products. An accurate Automated Export System (AES) filing must be made, whether or not the exportation requires a license.

If you wish to purchase an item for ultimate shipment or use outside of the United States, please indicate this fact in your order. Depending on the value of the order, specific item(s), end user, country of ultimate destination and end use, City Arsenal, Inc. may be required to apply for an export license with the appropriate U.S. government agency. Several items on the website may require an export license, including, but not limited to, the following:

Export Policy and Restrictions – Published Policy

International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR): Some of the item(s) on this website are subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and export is strictly prohibited without authorization or a license issued by the U.S. Department of State’s Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. By proceeding with a transaction to purchase any ITAR restricted item(s), the Customer certifies that (i) the purchase does not require City Arsenal, Inc. to export such items, unless City Arsenal, Inc. is aware of the export and has obtained the appropriate U.S. Government authorization; (ii) the Customer does not intend to export such items after receipt from City Arsenal, Inc. without the appropriate U.S. Government export authorization; (iii) the Customer does not intend to export, transfer, sell, or furnish the item to any foreign person, whether abroad or in the U.S., including any Foreign Embassy in the U.S., without the appropriate U.S. Government export authorization; (iv) the Customer understands that a foreign person under the ITAR § 120.16 means “any natural person who is not a lawful permanent resident as defined by 8 U.S.C. § 1101(a)(20) or who is not a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3),” and can mean “any foreign corporation, business association, trust, society, or any other entity or group that is not incorporated or organized to do business in the U.S., as well as international organizations, foreign governments, and any agency or subdivisions of government (e.g. diplomatic missions)” (See ITAR § 120.16); (v) the Customer is a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR § 120.15, meaning the Customer is a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., as defined by 8 U.S.C. § 1101(a)(20), or is a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3), or is a “corporation, business association, partnership, society, trust, or any other entity, organization or group that is incorporated to do business in the U.S., or is a governmental (federal, state, or local) entity” (See ITAR § 120.15).
