SOUTH CAROLINA CONCEALED WEAPONS PERMIT (CWP) COURSE

COST: $99
The cost of this class is all-inclusive and covers fingerprinting and certified letter to mail the application to SLED. Plus, students receive two (2) complimentary Range Passes. (offer does not include rentals, ammo, or targets).

COURSE DESCRIPTION: To qualify attendees for a S.C. Concealed Weapons Permit (CWP). The course covers the legal aspects of carrying a firearm and the laws governing the use of lethal force, as well as safety, firearms and ammunition options.

ACTIVITIES INVOLVED: A state-mandated class session followed by a written and shooting test. City Arsenal handles fingerprinting and the mailing of completed applications.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED: Handgun with at least 50 rounds of ammunition, eye and ear protection, and a valid South Carolina Driver License with current address. A firearm and eye and ear protection can be provided free of charge for course use if needed (use of City Arsenal firearms requires the purchase of in-store ammunition).

PREREQUISITES: None. However, students may find Personal Instruction or the Intro to Handgun course beneficial in preparing for the CWP course.

AGE REQUIREMENTS: 18+

TIME: Approx. 8 hours.
